I have this code in my ASPX page:

ASP.forums_threadview_aspx.getReplies(Request.QueryString["threadid"], staff);

Which calls getReplies - a static function in the code behind page.
The IsInRole call is not working... although my user is in the Moderator role, that if statement is never going true. How to do this? It won't let me call User.IsInRole from within getReplies because it's static... help :(
