Hide or show a javascript block in head section of a child of Master Page

Hi All,
I have a javascript in the contentplaceholder of the head section and it runs great. 
My problem is that I only want the javascript to show in the head section when the user has successfully logged on or when a specific form is running. Can someone please direct me to a resource that shows how to conditionally show the javascript?
