Selecting Multiple Values in a list box

 I know you can easily set a selection property to Multiple in a listbox, but when I click one Item in a listbox, hold down shift and select another one, the selectedItem still stays on the first item selected.
I tested this by setting :
label = listbox.SelectedItem.Text; and clicking on a Name, then clicking on another item in the listbox, both selectedItems are = to Name.
So my question is how can I get the different Item names for each Item in the listbox?
