Im new to asp.net and after extensively searching in forums etc Im still stuck at one small problem. I will really appreciate if anyone can guide me to its sol.
I have an ascx file (Web user control) which contains an updatePanel which further contains a formView. I need to open a modal aspx page on a button click event where the button is placed inside the above formview.
I have tried writing javascript windows.open function inside Response.write, I have tried
ScriptManager.RegisterStartupScript, I have tried Response.Redirect along with many other techniques.
But none of them seems to work for me. Im in desperate need of help from the .NET forum. Please suggest a solution.
