I have asp.net web site run on intranet , application and sql server 2005 database in same server. Now i need to make copy of application for further modification to release as next version and make a copy of databse to use for new version.
I got this question to sort out, how can keep live application with live database having membership provider and then create new membership provide for database copy which I am going to use for further development.
because both applications and both database in same server how can i set member ship provider seperatly. in configuration wizard we don't have any option to indicate what is the application?
can any one give me opinions please.....
