Any help on this would be great.
I have a sqldatasource that contains the field ItemType and contains a list of items such as dvd, bluray etc and I have a Textbox control (Textbox1) and Button (SearchButton).
What I want to do is type some text in the Textbox1 control (and by pressing the searchbutton) will search through the sqldatasource and output the contents in a gridview control on a new page. (Similar to amazon or ebay etc)
I know how to search a sqldatasource and display the contents on the same page, but i just need help on the output to the new page.
Do I need to use a querystringfield?
