Whenever you have Master/Detail (Parent-Child) type records that you need to add/edit what is an effective User Interface for this? Take the example of adding Albums and Tracks.
I want to be able to add an Album and then add one or more tracks to this album. Using ASP.NET what is a good way to do this? I want to have a gridview that lists all the albums and then maybe a link/button to add a new album. It might be nice if you could add the album and the tracks all at once. It seems like there are so many possibilities that I'm not sure what good way would be. Does anyone have any thoughts on this or any links to demos/articles showing a good way?
