Hi everyone,
I am new to this forum and in a problem .... i have started a new solution known as ASPWeb and added a new website in VS 2005 while adding the website the wizard asks for typing in the location i.e http://localhost/roadshow ... but after giving this and pressing ENTER it starts connecting but follows up with error message stating that the web server could not be found or there can be a problem in port 80 ... etc etc
1)can anyone please tell me is it compulsory to create a web server and if yes than how to do it .....
2)if not is it OK if i use the file system i.e, C:/ASPWeb as its location.... need to submit it ASAP .... earlier wenever i created web sites i used the file system it dint create any problem ... shud i do the same thing.
will also need lot of help in the future ... a true novice.....
