I've written a simple REST based Web API to return data, but the company who wishes to call this API have now requested I implement authorisation and authentication using OAuth. I'm not the most experiences developer when it comes to ASP.Net as my strengths
are desktop and database applications, not web applications. In short, how do I do this?
Can this be done at the web server level therefore without the need for me to code anything? Examples I've seen mostly refer to connecting to Google, Facebook etc.... and re-directing to login pages. I won't be connecting other services that implement
OAuth, nor will I want to re-direct to a web page requiring a user to login. I need a simple example in writing a web service that implements OAuth.
