I'm not sure how to ask my question or if I need impersonation at all but here goes...
I'm writing an Intranet Web app that accesses files from another PC on the network. My NT/Active Directory account can access the files on that other PC no problem.
However, from within my Intranet web app (written in C#) running off an IIS webserver, my Intranet web app cannot access the files from that other PC. So I included impersonation code in my Intranet web app by calling LogonUser() and supplying my name, domain, and password. I keep my name, domain, and password encrypted in Web.config.
Question: What I'd like to know, if possible, is how to access files from that other PC without having to re-login again. I'd rather not keep my name and password be kept in web.config since my password expires regularly due to company policy.
Thanks a lot!
