I'm in a dilemna... I have a vb.net webpage that displays a bunch of data from my database. The users need this page to copy from and paste into a program. They asked that the webpage display text in ALL CAPS, eventhough the database stores the text in upper and lower case.
I've tried using text-transform:uppercase as part of the .css (http://forums.asp.net/t/1461321.aspx) , and it displays the text in ALL CAPS. However, when the user copy/pastes from the page into another application, the text comes as upper and lower case.
I tested the users comments by copying and pasting into Notepad, and sure enough, the paste is upper and lower case. Any suggestions on how to get this to display ALL CAPS and paste ALL CAPS? (I'm on sql 2000, and the data is stored in upper and lower case)
