I'm not sure what forum to place this in.
I just created my first website using the ASP .Net Membership Services/Features. I created a login control on my Web Form and added the Admin account using the ASP .Net configuration tool. I used the login control that comes wtih Visual Studio toolbox.
On my computer the login user control from the toolbox and all other features work correctly.
I just used the Visual Studio Publish feature to publish my website to the internet. Then I generated a backup (*.bak) of my database on my computer. I then had my web host restore that *.bak file to my new MSSQL database I created on my web host.
The production website seems to be working without any problems when I go around from page to page, and all information from the database appears to be correct in the web pages.
However, when I try to login using the login control, I get directed to my error page. The server is reporting an error when ...
