experts, could you please help me to find an answer to the following question:
Is there
any way to hide data in the database so that nobody (even developers and administrators
of the computer and database with the fullest rights) could not read it?
This
question aroused from the following:
I have the
ASP.NET Application (with SQL server database). I need that some information, inputted
by users, to be stored in the database so that nobody could read it (even the
administrator with the fullest rights and the developers). And when the time
comes (or some other condition) the system discloses the information.
I have read
some articles on security and I have found that I can encrypt inputted data on
the server, but I can’t store the Encryption key on a computer so that the
administrators (and the owners of the system or even me) can’t access it. Am I
right or is there a way to hide the keys?
