Hello All,
I am wondering if I need to install and configure IIS in order to use the Login Control. I have setup SQL Membership Provider, created a database to store users' info, tweaked the connection string in my web.config , and created user roles and users. Nothing worked for me, I was not able to login to my webpage which I have created to test the Login Control. The only thing I can think of that I didn't do was setup IIS and that is because I have watched Bob Tabor's videos and he said it was not needed. Please help clarify this for me, do we need IIS or not in order to use dotnet 2.0 Login Control? Thank you in advance for your help.
