I have a HTML table in my ASP.NET 3.5 app that is specified with a width of 100%. This allows the table to expand to fill the space available, which is what I intended. However, if the user shrinks the width of his browser window beyond a certain point, various buttons, etc, in one cell of this table will wrap - which looks ugly. I could try putting each button in a separate cell, though this would require modifying the whole table to add several colspan settings in other rows. That may prove to be a perfectly acceptable solution but I am wondering if there is another way to do it (I am not an HTML expert).
Is there any way to specify a minimum width for a table while still allowing it to expand to fill the width available?
