the first code block works just fine when the button is clicked, even though popups are blocked in the browser
however when trying to accomplish bringing up the same 'window' with the same js function in code behind as part of postback logic, see 2nd block of code, I get nothing, not even a 'popup blocked' message from the browser. is there some way to make it work?
could I make a hidden button hidden and invoke it to be 'clicked' when the page is rendered coming back from the postback?
