I am new at ASP programming. I've been developing on VB5 (FIVE.. yes...)for the past 10 years, and I've been told it's time to move on... SO I decided to learn MS Visual Web Developer 2008 Express, using VB code (not C)
I am trying to understand how to pass a parameter entered in one webform (entered in control Textbox1 in Default.aspx) into another webform in the same project called Output_image.aspx.
(Output_image creates a shape, and returns it to Image1 in Default.aspx by using :
Image1.ImageUrl = "~/Output_image.aspx"
So what I have in Output_image.aspx is the line :
h = Val(Me.PreviousPage.FindControl("TextBox1"))
What I am trying to do is allocating to the integer h the value of TextBox1, which is in the Previous page (Default.aspx, in Textbox1)
Unfortunately, when I run this I get nowhere.. "PreviousPage" does no seem to be recognised.... Even though I added the line
