aspnet users question.

  Hi there people, my question is: im going to use the aspnet membership schema provided by asp.net.
can i use the username value which is in the aspnet_users to save it in another table where the website users get tasks assigned(these tasks are not roles , roles are defined already)
And later filter their tasks through a query against a sql data base using a comparation between the username of the logged on user and the username of my  " tasks assignation table"? Thanks in advace
