I have a SQLServer Express database for my app on my development machine, XP Pro, 32 bit. I copied the app and its database to the production server where it has been gathering data. The server is 2008 , 64 bit.
For further development I copied the database back to my dev machine so I would work with current data, but the app on my machine won't run because the database file has been converted to a newer version.
The C# app is developed in Visual Studio 2008 Pro. On my dev machine, the SQL Server Express comes with VS.
How can I transfer the data from the 64-bit machine to be used in the 32-bit version of the database on my dev machine?
It's not to be a continuing process, just ad-hoc when I need to do additional development on the app and need to work with current data.
Thanks,
Jon Jacobs
