Removing an Event from a control

Hello,

 Perhaps this is a silly question but I have never done this and I am unsure how to proceed. I need to remove an event from an existing control.

Scenario:

tb1.TextChanged (...)

       Remove tb2.TextChanged event

tb2.TextChanged(...)

      Remove tb1.TextChanged event

 

I wish no minimize the round trips to the server to check for any modifications to the screen's data.

Any help would be greatly appreciated,
