I'm currently working on web site. I have a weird problem with one of the web pages of the application, namely when I use IE 7 to view the page I get some really messy results. By viewing the page I mean only to cause partial postbacks which don't cause any redirections to other pages, not even refreshes of the actual page. I have a gridview control, a search panel and a combobox control on the page and I only play with paging the grid or searching for something. I'm using ASP AJAX 3.5 SP1 and VS 2008, I took advantage of the EnableHistory property of the ScriptManager class.
This stress test goes on for some 3-5 minutes and then IE starts to crash, to hang. I have to mention that this strage behaviour only happens using IE 7; I've tried the same test with Firefox and everything was running flawlessly.
Any suggestion is really appreciated. Thanks in advance.
