My website has a Members table contained in a SQL database. I have used asp_regsql.exe to add the membership schema to the existing database. I have added IDMember, the PK in the Members table, as a FK to the aspnet_Users table. I want to use the CreateUserWizard to allow members to create their own User Name and Password so that they can login to the secure areas of the website. I have added textboxes to the CreateUserWizard so that a member can add her first name, last name and date of birth. When the member clicks the Create User button I need to find the IDMember in the Members table that matches the first name, last name and date of birth, check the aspnet_Users table to insure that the member does not have an existing User Name and Password and then insert the information from the CreateUserWizard, including the IDMember into the aspnet_User table.
