I would like to know how to grant access to user for WCF functions using membership...
I am using Membership in WCF for certain functions andalso I am using the same Membership connection for the website in ASP.Net... my problem is hot to get password from the identity class once to user is already validated...
here is a sample:
myService.ClientCredentials.UserName.UserName = System.Threading.Thread.CurrentPrincipal.Identity.Name
and next to that line... password must be specified... BUT...
is there a way to do like this?
If User.Identity.IsAuthenticated Then
myService.ClientCredentials.UserName= System.Threading.Thread.CurrentPrincipal.Identity
End If
