Hi folks,
I've written some server side code that checks for the presence of the Accept-Encoding header (for gzip compression). In my development environment this is working fine, however when deployed I can see (using Fiddler) my browser (IE7) is sending Accept-Encoding in the request header yet it's not being put in the Request.Headers collection.
Here is what is requested:
GET /gallery/ HTTP/1.1
Accept: */*
Accept-Language: en-au
UA-CPU: x86
Accept-Encoding: gzip, deflate
User-Agent: Mozilla/4.0 (compatible; MSIE 7.0; Windows NT 6.0; SLCC1; .NET CLR 2.0.50727; .NET CLR 3.0.04506; .NET CLR 3.5.21022; FDM)
Host: iconcreations.com.au.115.aspwebhosting.com.au
Proxy-Connection: Keep-Alive
Pragma: no-cache
And heres what the stupid headers collection has in it:
