Im having a bit of a headbutt the wall moment here.
The Problem:
I have am ecommerce website using profiles. So when the user comes to the site a new anonymous profile is created (great :D) they go through the sopping process and put things into thier basket, check out, enter thier details, chose a delivery option then go to pay... Heres the dilema. I need to redirect the user to secure.domainname.co.uk becasue the ecommerce site will have alot of sub domains like shopname.domainname.co.uk so it would be silly to buy SSL certificates for all of the sub domain names so rather then that ill just have one.
The anoying thing is that the secure domain is looking at the exact same application as the normal domain and i cant seem to get my Anonymous Profile back.
I cant seem to set the anonymous user id to the one that i pass through in a query string. Please see the code snippets below.
