I have a legacy asp application, I would like to write a .net login.aspx webform. upon authentication I would redirect user to the legacy asp page with the encrypted with a encypted value in the querystring the asp code would read the decrypt the value and if valid it would authenticate user.
I am guessing I would need a shared key between the asp.net and legacy asp code to do the encrypt, decrypt function. I was wondering if someone knew of an example to this being done? any help that can be provided would be appreciated.
