Web Site project. When I navigate to http://localhost/subfolder on the asp.net development server everything is fine. When I upload to the remote web server I have to navigate to http://hostname/subfolder/default.aspx or the postback will not fire. However, when I navigate to http://hostname the postback works fine on the remote server (no default.aspx required). The problem only occurs with the default page contained in the subfolder.
I should add that I'm using Telerik controls...not sure if that has anything to do with it. My skill level is novice but I can usually find answers to questions like this. This one, however, doesn't seem to be very common.
I've tried several things including making the subfolder an application in IIS but that causes other issues (like not being able to use the top level master page) so I'd rather not go further down that road. Unless there's a way around that, which I haven't e ...
