Hello,
I have a web service called by a JavaScript proxy that works well, but I have an issue when it comes to an exception thrown from the web service.  So I throw a custom exception with a custom message to the caller.  On the client, I get the message from the client-side exception and show it to the user.
This works well on my local machine; it'll show the custom error.  But when it's on the server, I get a 500 error with the message "an error occurred while processing the request", which is not the message I pass to the client.
Not sure why I'm getting an HTTP 500 when an error occurs in my web service... is this because of a timeout?  It all actually works quickly, which I'm really confused by....
When the execution path doesn't throw the exception, it works fine.
