I'm a relative newbie. I am writing a website which has similar code on most of the pages. Its not on them all, or I would just put the code in the Master.
So I want to reuse a common piece of code. I have created a class in the app_code folder. I've never done this before and have some questions.
1. How can I access controls on the page with this class. The purpose of the code is to change images and labels with content from a database.
2. Is it possible to use code in a seperate class to open a data reader and pass it back? So for example, If I wanted a sub which opened a datareader, passed it back along with another variable - how would I do that.
