Could you recommend a quick introductory guide that covers ASP.NET and Ajax? I have a confident level of C# and the .NET Framework and I did build ASP.NET Web applications using tutorials from MSDN, but I lack an understanding of things that happen under the hood (starting from the simple concept of a postback).
