Hi,
First i will explain my appplication layout...I have Base Master Page and then i have one child master page.
Now in my child master page i call one aspx page...let say "PersonOwner.aspx" and in that aspx page i am loading different user controls at the runtime...( i mean i have lots of linkbutton in child master page, on the click of link button i move to aspx page and then load different user control as per need)...
Now in one of my user control. I have one gridview with "edit (as linkbutton) button" and on click of that i move to data base and fetch the record and bind to detailsView control.
Both are bind to different objectdatasource control.
i am able to click and get the id from gridview through which i will fetch record from database and bind to detailsview control.
and i have used ajax modalpopup contr ...
