create menu control in vb code and change its properties

Hi all
I tried to create a Menu control and changed some properties using the vb code behind :
Dim menu1 As Menu menu1 = New Menu menu1.Orientation = Orientation.Horizontal form1.Controls.Add(menu1) Everything seems to be ok but when I run the code it fires an error :
Compiler Error Message: BC30456: 'Orientation' is not a member of 'Menu'.

I donno is this the right way to create a Menu Control in the code or not ??
