Autogenerated Passwords for Password Recovery Too Complex

Hi, when reseting passwords on my app the autogenerated passwords are unnecessarily complex, i.e. ideally I'd just like a password containing 6 uppercase letters. Is there a way to configure how they are generated? obviously I don't want to alter the format of the existing passwords and make them invalid.
