I'm writing an application to set an active directory user's password. Within the code, I have to check whether the ACL for the user's directory entry denies the change of the password. I know if that flag is set, I'm going to get an exception anyway and the password wont get changed. But I want to know how to get or set the value of the nTSecurityDescriptor property in particular.
MSDN provides an example at http://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/ms817839.aspx, but the example imports ActiveDs. When i try to import that in my code (Visual Studio 2008, Page Language="vb" ), I get the warning that this namespace does not contain any public member or cannot be found...
Any help is greatly appreciated.
