I am currently trying to allow access to a webpart editor control for each page based on certain Roles. The webpart edit control exists on the master page. I want to prevent from having to call the control on every page for efficiency, and because there are already hundreds of pages within the project I would have to manually add them to.
For Example:
I have three Roles: Admin, ContentEditor, and ContactsAdmin
There is a page called Contacts.aspx that all three roles can edit (see webpart editor control).
But the ContactsAdmin should only have access to edit the webpart that exists on the Contacts Page, and not on any other pages in the website.
I need to be able to dynamically assign role names to the role attribute.
Currently I have created a method that will return the correct roles based on what page is being accessed as a string --> "Admin,ContentEditor,ContactsAdmin".
