The problem that I have is with Forms Authentication in a 3.5 web app when it times out. I've read about issues with FormsAuthentication and .NET Framework 2.0 and above.
Anyway, here’s the scenario: User logs into the app and navigates to a page which has query string values in the URL. The page times out after X # of minutes. When the user tries to refresh the page, the user gets redirected to the login page. At this point the URL has been formatted to include the RedirectUrl attribute. When user attempts to login again an exception is thrown. Here’s the message and the exception:
