This really isn't my normal style, but I am extremely passionate about Silverlight and its revolutionary potential. Since the release of Silverlight 2 Beta, I have seen numerous incidents of people struggling with the change to asynchronous only web services. Due to the nature of these forums, it is difficult to present a unified voice in requesting the Silverlight team make the necessary changes to bring back synchronous behavoir.
