Hi Experts,
Our client has various applications of various technologies (.net, java, mainframe etc) in use and they wanted us to create a portal (a single access point) to their customers so that it will be easier for them to use. Obviously not all applications to all but based on some authentication. Any good architecture thoughts on this? They asked us to consider,
- sharepoint portal (why do we need this by the way, i dont know !)
- .Net 3.5
- Silverlight (for a RIA) if possible.
Please give your thoughts on this.
