Everything was running smoothly suddenly "Microsoft JScript runtime error: DOM Exception: NOT_FOUND_ERR (8)"

I developed my .aspx pages and debug them many times and run them many times successfuly. Then suddently the following strange error arise: Microsoft JScript runtime error: DOM Exception: NOT_FOUND_ERR (8)
What is the story behind this?
