This is probably my twentieth attempt to solve the problem of not beingable to login to my website which I have created to practice using the Login Control. I have read many different articles and watched many videos on this, but I just can't seem to make it work. I understand that I must setup the SQL Membership Provider ( run aspnet_regsql.exe, tweak web.config file, and create user and user role using website admin tool). The problem is when I try to login I get the error message "Your login attempt was not successful. Please try again.". If I get some other error messages it might be more helpful, but all I get is this message which does not tell me much about the cause of the error. I didn't know what the problem could be so I changed my connection string several times. The following is the current connectionstring in the ConnectionStrings section of my web.config file.
