In my web application requirement is to call the web service from client side script. Both service and web application resides in the same machine, not inside same application.from js I tried to call method like Hello.Service1.GetHello(); but am getting an error says 'service not found'.
My service reference like this..<asp:ServiceReference Path="http://xxx.xxx.x.xxx:xx/Hello/Service1.asmx"/>
I doubt some problem with my ServiceReference Path.
Can anyone help..
