SelectedIndexChanged of dropdownlist (which is in the main page) should filter the DataGrid of UserControl page

Hi,

I've a dropdownlist on the main page. This has a value to categorise the list that is been shown on the DataGrid which is in the UserControl page.

Initially the DataGrid displays all the values. Then once you click the dropdown list to filter the records based on the criteria that is in the dropdownlist, then it should filter the DataGrid values that is in the UserControl page.

How would I achieve this?
