I am using sybase 12(PowerBuilder classical) on Windows 7. Everything is OK if I install SQL SERVER 2012 EXPRESS with the file SQLEXPRWT_X86_CHS.EXE. But I want to deploye my applications with a simple and short installing. So I only choose to
install database engine, SqlLocalDB_x86.MSI.
After I installed the file (SqlLocalDB_x86.MSI) on my working machine, I created my named instance "tyl" and then started it. But I just cannot connect to the instance with my Windows NT user(trusted connection). The following
is my script:
sqltrust = create transaction
sqltrust.dbms = "OLE DB"
sqltrust.autocommit = False
sqltrust.DBParm = "PROVIDER='SQLOLEDB',DATASOURCE='(localdb)\tyl', PROVIDERSTRING='database=master',INTEGRATEDSECURITY='SSPI'"
connect using sqltrust;
the returned error message is:
SQLSTATE = 08001, Microsoft OLE DB Provider ...
