Forms Authentication - Session doesn't end on browser close!

Hi All,

 I have a ASP.NET 2.0 web application using Forms Authentication and here are the settings:

<authentication mode="Forms">
   <forms name="FORMSCOOKIEAUTH" loginUrl="~/DefaultPage.aspx" protection="All" path="/" slidingExpiration="true" defaultUrl="~/Main.aspx" />
  </authentication>

The problem is:

 Suppose I login to the application and close the browser, I expected the session to end. But when I try to access the application, it bypasses the login screen and logs into application!

 Please help!
