Hi, I am not a true developer and I have implemented a solution that utilises impersonation to access a shared folder. The web server running the code is outside of the domain and the shard folder exists on a server inside the domain.
After rummaging around on the the tinterweb I came up with impersonation, now in my case I had to setup a mirrored account to get this working but really I just want confirmation that what I have done is ok. In addition I came across a function called NetUseAdd (part of the WinAPI) but I cannot figure out how to use this from asp.net (vb), I am going to post a question about this as well but include it here as well if someone has a response.
