How do I call a method in inline code that is defined in a code-behind file? If I directly use it like this:
<%# GetShortDate(Container.DataItem("www"))%> It doesn't work. I have to add this for it to work:
Protected Overloads Function GetShortDate(ByVal datum As Date) As String Return MyBase.GetShortDate(datum) End Function I've done something else and this now gives a compile error saying that
GetShortDate(datum) is not a member of UserControl Although the @Control inherits from the parent class:
<%@ Control Language="vb" AutoEventWireup="false" Src="~/tools/_calendarrdetailed.ascx.vb" Inherits="CalendarRDetailed" Debug="true" %> ...

Go to the complete details ...
