I have been having issues trying to get the AJAX AutoComplete feature to work on my live server. I did a remote desktop session onto my server and ran my .asmx page through IE7. It worked fine, communicated to my database server and retrieved the results I expected to see. I'm pretty sure that my web service is working correctly. However, when I try to view the default.aspx page through an absolute url, the AutoComplete doesn't work. It appears as if there is no communication with the web service. I type beyond the minimum text amount of 3 and still nothing. I'm a little confused because when I run the page through my own machine, connecting to my local database, the page works fine...and the .asmx page works on the live server, but the default.aspx page doesn't show the AutoComplete drop down. Below is the code I'm using. Any help would be very much appreciated!
