hi all,
i am building a website in which i need user to login to see the other pages of the website.
i have made all pages and i use MYSQL to maintain the users details.a new user first registers himself.
In login page i have used login control of asp.net to provide login interface.
Everything is working fine.Only registered users are able to login and they are directed to home page.
But by directly typing the home page url in the address bar one can access the home page and all other pages.
how can i prevent it.i want these users to be directed to login page so that they have to first login.
i also want to show 'logout' link to the logged in user in all pages.the pages that need login use same master page that is different from that i use for login and registration page..
sorry for the length of the question but i wanted to give as much details as i could.
