Provider doesn't use MDF files?

 I am currently with IXHosting.  I just started getting into securing some web pages and allow users to register, and sign in.  Using VWD 2008.  I can get everything to work on the production Computer, but when I copy to web site, it doesn't recognize or can't find ASPNETDB.MDF.  When asking the provider about it, he tells me they cannot use MDF files.  So, now how do I configure VWD 2008?  I didn't think they needed to work with MDF files, I thought that was built in VWD 2008.  I did get another database connected but that is an access data base.  Somehow I think I have to tell VWD to use a different database.  Any help or suggestions will greatly be apprecaited...  tks  Chet
