How to split String Data?

Hello,
I have a String value: "1.0,2.2,3.4"            <= Note these are concatenation of 3 numbers separated by a comma ","
I need to split this String value into 3 separate variables to be used for storing them into a SESSIONS for later use, are there any Function in VB.NET that allow me to do this?
Here is what I am hoping to get
Value1=1.0
Value2=2.2
Value3=3.4
I am using VB.NET, any help is much appreciated.  Thanks
